Made this adorable fair isle hat. Wish I could take credit for it, but it was all in the yarn. I used self patterning Knitcol Yarn, size 6 needle, medium size (80 stitches cast on). At the end, instead of finishing it I made an i-cord tail with the last 5 stitches. Made the i-cord about 5" and tied a little knot at the end.
