Boot cuffs
I chose this pattern because it was done in a bulky weight yarn. The Bartlett yarn I used is a heavy worsted so I figured it would work. They came out pretty nice -- but I won't know for sure until Morgan tries them on. The pattern can be found on Ravelry: Beehive Boot Cuff.

Green Mountain Fiber Festival
The GM Fiber Festival took place this year (2013) at the Wilder Center in Wilder, VT in late November. I enjoyed walking around looking at all the lovely things. It was difficult to decide what I wanted but I finally settled on:
-- a small kit from Dirty Works Dye Works
It contained a skein of yarn (alpaca, merino, silk) and a Cabled Keyhole Scarf pattern.

-- a nostepinne made by The Wee Piper in South Royalton, VT
I have wanted one for so long and I finally treated myself. I have really enjoyed using it. There are some You Tube videos that show you how to use one.
-- a skein of sock yarn (Churro Super-sock) from Gage Hill Crafts
The socks will need to be hand washed -- but I couldn't resist the yarn.
-- and I took a workshop on how to make Dorset Buttons
I have made them before but I couldn't resist taking a refresher.
